From 66e8f935f05d1018898cee9e0c4ad713fc6b8673 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ingo Schwarze Date: Sun, 19 Jan 2020 16:44:50 +0000 Subject: Align to the new, sane behaviour of the groff_mdoc(7) .Dd macro: without an argument, use the empty string, and always concatenate all arguments, no matter their number. This allows reducing the number of arguments of mandoc_normdate() and some other simplifications, at the same time polishing some error messages by adding the name of the macro in question. --- mandoc.1 | 6 +++--- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) (limited to 'mandoc.1') diff --git a/mandoc.1 b/mandoc.1 index 298d5dc7..3f37db08 100644 --- a/mandoc.1 +++ b/mandoc.1 @@ -1,4 +1,4 @@ -.\" $Id: mandoc.1,v 1.240 2019/07/10 19:39:01 schwarze Exp $ +.\" $Id: mandoc.1,v 1.241 2020/01/19 16:44:50 schwarze Exp $ .\" .\" Copyright (c) 2009, 2010, 2011 Kristaps Dzonsons .\" Copyright (c) 2012, 2014-2019 Ingo Schwarze @@ -15,7 +15,7 @@ .\" ACTION OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHER TORTIOUS ACTION, ARISING OUT OF .\" OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THIS SOFTWARE. .\" -.Dd $Mdocdate: July 10 2019 $ +.Dd $Mdocdate: January 19 2020 $ .Dt MANDOC 1 .Os .Sh NAME @@ -1073,7 +1073,7 @@ macro lacks the mandatory section argument.
